According to reports Valencia is on the trail of Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini.
The Belgian international is out of contract next summer, and United have not agreed to sell the 29-year-old, despite reports he was on his way to Turkish giants Besiktas in January.
The Spanish side is keen to land Fellaini next season on a free transfer and while the midfielder's representatives are locked in talks with United’s top brass, Valencia will push for a signed pre-contract in January.
Fellaini followed David Moyes from Everton to Old Trafford in the summer of 2013 for £27.5 million.
The towering midfielder was seen as the poster boy for Moyes' disastrous nine-month reign at United and looked to be surplus to requirements under Louis Van Gaal and current manager Jose Mourinho.
