COSAFA U20: Senong heaps praise on Mauritius

South Africa head coach Tabo Senong was full of praise for Mauritius after guiding his team to a two-nil victory in the ongoing COSAFA U20 Youth Championships games in Zambia.

Senong described Mauritius as a very good team during the post-match press conference terming them as having applied a working strategy and admitting that they had to alter the playing style at some point to fit into the game.

-Hard luck to Mauritius, They are a very good team. They were very direct, They played a lot of aerial balls which was hard for us to deal with. Well done to our boys obviously we had to work hard to get a good result, he said.

Tough nut

-We had to adjust our style of play a little bit, you saw the pitch conditions because of the rain but the first game is always not easy that's why we had to work hard to get a good result, he added.

Orlando Pirates striker Lyle Brent Foster netted twice in the second half to help Amajita to a comfortable two-nil win.
