Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda has described Zambia's group at the on-going CHAN tournament as very competitive.
The coach told FAZfootball.com that he will not leave anything to chance as he aims at progressing to the next stage.
-It will be a very competitive group, whoever goes to sleep goes home. We are not going to take anything to chance. We just have to work hard and get qualification to the next round, he said.
Nyirenda is wary of the threat Uganda will provide having picked mostly those players who played in the World cup qualifiers. Zambia open their CHAN campaign against Uganda on Sunday.
-Uganda is not a small team, they are featuring most of the players that featured in Afcon qualifiers, so it is not going to be an easy game. It will not be easy against Ivory Coast and Namibia, he said.
-Our aim is to pick three points so that we sit comfortably and start thinking ahead for the next game. I am very positive we shall get a very positive result, he added.
Chipolopolo boys yesterday had a feel of the turf at Grand Stade de Marrakech in their first training session since arriving in Morocco on Thursday evening.
