Breaking: Uganda, Kenyan officials shortlisted for World Cup 2018 duty

Ugandan assistant referee, Mark Ssonko, and Kenyan, Range Marwa, have been shortlisted to officiate in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia

Ssonko and Marwa who are among a dozen of assistants picked for the assignment have been listed alongside Ahmed Waleed from Sudan and Jean Claude Birimushahu from Burundi.

Ethiopia’s Tessema Weyesa Bamlak is the only centre referee picked from the CECAFA region.
